A Founders’ Morning with Emmy Brunner at The Arding Room
Many women build businesses by learning to push harder, plan further ahead and hold everything together. These qualities can take them a long way, but over time, the very habits that contribute to success can also begin to limit it. The expectations we place on ourselves, and the stories we carry about who we need to be to succeed, can shape the way we lead, create and make decisions.
The qualities that help us build a business, ambition, discipline, resilience and the ability to keep going, can become so deeply ingrained that we rarely stop to question them. Yet the patterns that have brought us success are not always the ones that will take us where we want to go next.
Join psychotherapist and author Emmy Brunner for a thought-provoking workshop exploring the relationship between our inner world and the businesses we build. Drawing on over twenty years of clinical experience, Emmy will examine how our beliefs about success shape the way we lead, make decisions and relate to our work, often in ways we don't fully recognise.
Together, we’ll explore what happens when ambition becomes driven by expectation rather than instinct, how familiar patterns can keep us operating within the limits of what we already know, and why meaningful growth sometimes requires us to think, create and lead differently.
Through guided reflection and practical exercises, you’ll have the opportunity to step outside the demands of the day-to-day, question the assumptions shaping your decisions and reconnect with new ways of seeing what’s possible.
Because sometimes, the next stage of growth isn't about doing more. It's about making room for something different.
Includes tea, coffee and a small bite.
EnrolThe conversation doesn’t have to end with the workshop.
Join a small group of fellow founders for an intimate lunch designed to create space for more considered conversation, shared experiences and meaningful connection.
With just fifteen places available, the lunch offers an opportunity to exchange perspectives, explore ideas that emerged during the morning and connect with women navigating the complexities of building something of their own.
A little more time, a smaller table and the space to continue the conversation beyond the usual introductions.
Optional lunch ticket: £45 per person
Includes the workshop ticket and a two-course lunch. Available exclusively to attendees of Making Room.
